Helppp w/ pregnancy test......half positive is that even possible??

So my husband and I are ttc. He bought me an ept test. The test results are displayed as a positive or a negative and the control window is a negative sign. So I took the test yesterday and it looked like a bfn. So after a minute I left. When I came back later there was a blue line on the top to make it look like a positive. I have read about evaporation lines and they are not suppsed to have any color and the line on my test was blue and clear as day. The problem is the bottom of it didn't have a line to make it a full positive. I haven't missed my period yet so I think I am going to take another test in a few days. I was just wondering what that means if it is only half positive? Also- I am trying not to get to excited because I don't want to have a broken heart so what is everyones opinion? I showed it to my husband and he told me that he thinks its a positive. I am just so confuseddd!!!!!!!! Please help me! THanksssss a bunch!! Baby dust to all!!!!

I once took a test where it would show one verticle line if negative, and a plus sign if pregnant, and when I took it, it was one horizontal line.... weird. I took another one and it did the same thing lol. So I took it to a pharmacy and they said negative. I went to get checked instead and what do you know, I was 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Try taking a different brand. I always have problems with EPT and First Response.

I would get an EPT, you can test 5 days before your missed period.  Some come with 2 in the box.  I would get that, try one today...and then one in the morning, for the first morning urine.  But make sure you don't drink tons of water so you have to pee, that will dilute the HCG levels in your urine.  Good Luck!

u said u left the test & came back later.its always mentioned on the test that disregard any result after a certain time.if it said test in one minute then the result will be shown in one minute only.anything after that is wrong becz u left it longer.

I don't want to get your hopes up, but I would say you are pregnant.  The same thing happened to me with my last pregnancy.  I took it soon even before my period was due.  The pregnancy window was very faint.  Even when I took the test in to my ob/gyn the nurses said it was negative.  They took another similar urine test and it come out even lighter than mine or maybe nothing showed in the window.  They gave me a prescription for a blood test and the doctor called me back( of course I had to call him a few times first) and said congratulations you are pregnant!  Even my blood levels were low, so I had to keep getting  more blood tests because he was worried about an ectopic pregnancy.  When I went back to test my pregnancy hormones had skyrocketed!  He even said they got so high that it looked like I might be having twins.  In the end, I had a beautiful baby boy.  Good luck.

when you take a preg test you are most likely to get a false neg not a false positive if part of the positive line showed up i would def take another one i don't want you to get excited just in case you are not but i would say you are pregnant.....................i also wouldn't wait a few days i would check it again right away.............

The blue line tests are notorious for blue evaporation lines after the time limit.  DO NOT look at a test of any kind past the time limit. The result at that point isn't valid.
