Helpppp ... I cant get this residue off of my contact lens .. Im sure its lotion..?

I have Gas Permeable lenses and I even bought some enzyme cleaner to remove stubborn deposits .. When i hold the lens up to the light i can see the big blur .. Looks like a oily residue like lotion ... Helppppppppp .. I can barely see .. Should i try Dawn ?

Im sad and Blurry ..

P.s I have been wearing the same kind of contacts for the past 30 years .. I never had this hard of a time getting somthing off !! :-((

if enzymatic cleaner doesn't work, maybe try some Ciba Clear Care...it's a hydrogen peroxide solution that bubbles up while it neutralizes to clean lens deposits for both soft and rgp lenses...ciba's offering a rebate wor it so you can get it for almost free...

if that doesn't work then you can always bring the lenses back to your optometrist to get the lenses re-polished

Not sure if you tried this or not, but just dry them off and then try to wipe it away with your dry finger. That usually works for me. If not, try to see if you can take it in to your doctor, it might need to be buffed.

But I do know you should not use Dawn! That could be so bad for your eyes!
