Ok so im auditioning for a series for disney channel. I am fourteen and school is very important to me so if i do get the part what happens to my school work? Oh and i have to travel to california because i leave in delaware... So i just wanna know what happens when i get the part and when i go there do i have to settle there and get homeschooled or do i just shoot the series and come back home??/ pleaze help me!

If you get a part in a TV show you will have to live in california during the months they are shooting, so you will rent an apartment, with one of your parents. One of your parents need to be with you on the set or appoint a guardian for you to be on the set with you since you are 14. On the set you will have a teacher, you will need to go to school on the set for a certain number of hours each day with the other kids. During the months the show is not shooting you can go back to Delaware or do whatever.How did you get the audition?

Most actors who are under 18, are homeschool. My friend is 14, and he's so busy with all of his work, he has to be homeschool.

If you get the part, you will have to move to California (where you will be filming) and a certified teacher will homeschool you on set and at home. You can still go to university or college even if your homeschooled so don't worry.

You'd most likely have to drop out and become homeschooled. Acting is a huge commitment, and you need to consider that.

You asked for an answer from a professional. Here it comes, but you probably won't like it. You are NOT auditioning for a series on the Disney channel. They don't scour the country looking for kids to be on their shows. I guarantee you this is a rip off. The person is going to try to sell you overpriced photos and/or classes. Please show this to your parents. Better they hear it here first than realize it after they've been soaked for a couple of thousand bucks.
