  1. I think the effect you are having are from the depo shot.  it really messes with your period.  I was on depo for 3 years and for 6 months I was on my period almost all the time, then for 8 months I had none and then for a whole month and then it went away.  You are not far enough along to have a beating feeling but I know that it is hard when the normal sign of pregnancy stops so I took many pregnancy tests while I was on depo.  It is hard to get used to the idea that you don't have to get your period while on it.  It is supposed to trick the body into thinking it is pregant and that is why some of the symptoms of pregnancy occur when you are on it.

  2. You should take a pregnancy test immediately, or go to the doctor.

  3. I was on Depo for 2 years and never had a period.  It even took a few months for my normal cycle to come back after I stopped taking the Depo.  I was advised when I started taking it to use a condom or another form of birth control for the first month, just in case.  They even tell you this with birth control pills.  If you had unprotected s*x, then it might be wise to take a HPT just to help put your mind at ease.

Be aware that many women I know, including myself, had terrible mood swings and irritability while on Depo.  I suggest doing some additional research to be sure you understand what your body will go through while on Depo.  I find webMD to be very helpful without using too many difficult medical terms.

  4. you should try taking a pregnancy test and if its postitve well then i feel bad for you but whens the last time you had s*x and did he use a condom?

  5. It depends on how long you have been on the depo...Usually with some women, the depo will eventually stop your periods.  They will return when you stop taking the shots. Have you had unprotected s*x? Always if you are questioning in you are or not, it doesn't hurt to take a HPT. They are as acurate as the ones at the doctors' office. The beating could be your heart beat. You do have a large artery that runs down to your pelvic region. I hope this helps and you figure everything out. Good Luck :)

Here's a website with a few symptoms, check it out and see if you have any of them:

  6. well you are far enough along now to know if you are by taking a pregnancy test. so do that. and then go from there.

  7. Just take a pregnancy test or go to the doctor.

Yahoo isn't going to magically know if you're pregnant.

  8. Well i didn't have a period for 3 years when on the shot, only a wee bit of spotting around the time of my period. So this could all be normal. If you're worried go to the docs, but depo can do weird things to your body!

  9. i think you should take a pregnancy test just to be sure, but i would say it is just from the depo shot. both of my sister were on it and one of them bled non stop and the other didn't have a period for the whole 2 years(!). so, although there is always a chance of pregnancy if u are having unprotected s*x, i think this is just the shot messing with your cycles. good luck.
