does a 220 socket gives your ipod a stronger charge than a 110 socket.please tell me if you know.

  2. No, you don't get a stronger charge.  With the higher voltage the power supply draws less curent, and in both cases (110 and 220) the output is still stepped down to the same output voltage.

    You should be able to safely charge your iPod under 220 or 110 power sockets.  To confirm this, examine the power supply of the iPod... it should say 100-240 v 50/60 hz or something similar.

    If you power supply says  220-240 --  or if it says 110-120 -- then you should NOT plug the supply into a voltage different than the rating.as that's a hazard and could damage your equpment.

    But I believe power supplies for all Apple products are the full worldwide range 110-240 so you should be ok.
