. Hit the button that has a speech bubble with the word &quot;SMS&quot; in it.

2. In the top right corner hit the button that looks like a square with a pencil in it.

3. Enter the phone number of the person you want to send it to.

4. Tap the blank screen right under the &quot;To:&quot; section and type your message.

5. Hit send
