Hen Party in York, where are the best pubs to go to?

Planning to go for my hen do in York, thinking flamingoland for the day, and go into the city for drinks at night. but im not sure where to go for drinks and also where is best to stay? given im going to flamingoland in the day!

I have only been there once and there were loads of hen parties there so follow the crowds. The city has lots of bars so hit the centre and you'll be spoilt for choice. I had a great night out there so I'm sure you will enjoy yourselves. I stayed at 'The Hollies' guest house which is lovely but small and a bit far out of town, so depends how many of you there are and if you want something a bit more luxurious for a special occassion. Check York tourist board websites for accommodation- there are tons of nice places to stay. Have fun.

The Grand Old Duke of York is a good pub, but I think it may be a g*y pub, cos he had 10,000 men !

Just stay at home and do some cooking, cleaning ironing etc

best way to prepare for married life, just let your husband go out and have the stag night he deserves! :op
