The English International was of the opinion that the club’s academy players, who have forced their way into the professional circuit, are not just being introduced to meet their long term objectives. Instead, they have got what it takes to compete with
the Premier League’s big guns and can help them secure a Champions League berth this term.
It has been toilsome proceedings for the Reds since the start of the season. Out of the seven league games that they have played so far, the team have only managed to grab a single win and are currently tottering in the fourteenth place in the league standings.

Henderson, who is himself one of the younger members of the Reds squad, has struggled to find his form since his 20 million pounds move from Sunderland last year.
All in all, he has made 56 appearances for the Merseyside outfit, and has pocketed just 2 scalps.
