“It doesn’t matter if that’s at your club or internationally, you always want to do your best. It’s great to be able to play 90 minutes – you want to play in every game you can.”
Henderson further said that he was honoured to lead his country at the U-21 level, and unravelled his dream of captaining the professional team one day.
“It’s a great honour for me. I love to go out there leading the lads. It’s obviously a nice feeling, but I still have some way to go to get the full England one. I just need to keep working hard and you never know, one day,” he added.
