Jordan Henderson wants to stay at Sunderland
Sunderland’s 20-year-old midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordan-Henderson-c19102 revealed he planned to stay at the Stadium of Light and was not leaving in the summer. There were rumors linking the players to a move to other Premier League sides, such as Manchester United, however,
Henderson denied all such claims.
Henderson said while speaking to reporters, “I do feel I have improved this season. I'm a better player than I was 12 months ago. It has been another great season for me. I have had some ups and downs along the way, but its all part of my development.”
The midfielder feels he had improved during his time at Sunderland, and even though a new deal has not been agreed upon as yet, Henderson is determined to stay. There were talks of the player having already signed a new contract but Sunderland boss, Steve
Bruce dismissed the buzz.
Henderson spoke of his desire of remaining with his home-town club, he continued, “I'm playing every week in the Premier League and that's all I have ever dreamed of doing. I'm young and I'm playing for Sunderland. I just want to keep doing that, keep improving,
keep getting better as a player.”
Henderson has been a key part of Steve Bruce’s squad, earning his place in the starting XI with his consistent performances. However, he has had some problems with untimely injuries, which have kept him sidelined. He still remains an important part of the
team and it is highly unlikely he will be making an exit this summer.

Nathan Delfouneso on loan to Burnley
