Henpecked, worth a bet in A2 480m Flat at Hall Green
Henpecked is up against some beatable opponents in the 480 metres Flat heat, taking place at Hall Green on Monday, May 21st. The Grade A2 event is set to begin at 13:04 GMT.
Among the confirmed entries are: Henpecked, Lady Barrister, Bernies Den, Ballybride Black, Droopys Orson and Ardera Fernando. A cash prize of £122 is reserved for the ultimate champion.
Henpecked was not impressive last time around. In a similar heat, the brindle dog failed to perform well and as a result, finished fourth in the list. However, the punters don’t need much of a memory to recall his last triumph.
At the start of this month, C. Andrews’ trainee did a fantastic job, sealing the top rank by two and a half lengths. He beat Bens Nikita quite easily.
With some out-of-form rivals in the line-up, Henpecked has a great chance of putting his campaign back on the winning ways. Let’s see how he keeps his head high today.
Lady Barrister is also looking for the winning momentum. After an emphatic win at the end of last month, the black b***h lost his direction, doing nothing special in the following two races. In her last outing, the b***h ended
up third behind Rock It Mourinho. She missed the runner-up spot by four and a half lengths.
Bernies Den has the speed to be in the bunny hunt when it matters. The multi coloured hound is out for form these days, as he did nothing special in his last few appearances. So, he needs plenty of effort to unchain the shackles.
Ballybride Black may have to wait for a more obvious chance. His last win does not suggest that he will be able to do well against this line-up.
Similarly, Ardera Fernando is not one of the major players and therefore, the punters should prefer to hunt elsewhere for the winner. Droopys Orson’s prospects look tricky. So, it is not an easy race to call for him.
Henpecked seems to have the highest chance of winning. Lady Barrister might make things a bit tricky for him. We wish the best of luck to everyone.
