Arsenal legend and current New York Red Bulls forward, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thierry-Henry-c34918 has admitted that he is going to be more than open to returning to the Emirates, should the team require his services in the future.
The forward is currently employed by the New York Red Bulls, but considering how he managed to have a rather decent run in with Arsenal, as part of a loan spell earlier this year, many believe that he might come back to the club at the start of the New Year.
However, given his age the striker has admitted that he might not be able to perform at the same levels that the club has come to expect of him, but he would still be more than willing to help out wherever he can.
Keeping that in mind, it is a common view that the Frenchman might return to the club not as a player, but as a coach.
When talking about coaching and his future plans for the club, the attacker went on to state: "Seriously, I don't know. I just want to finish my career [first]. I would go back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. Coaching does interest me but I really don't
think about it right now.”
"I don't plan to go back [again to play for Arsenal] and I didn't plan to go back and play last time.”
"It was only because of the guys [strikers http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gervinho-c14755 and Marouanne Chamakh] went to the African Cup of Nations. They asked if I wanted to play, and that's it. I was there to train."
He then went on to talk about the situation that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 finds himself in. Henry stated that things were just the way they appeared to be and that he was in no place to comment on the situation. Later on, he admitted that it might be hard to admit
to what is happening, but it’s best for everyone to not get too involved in anything at this point.
He added: "I've nothing to say about it. They have to deal with it and that's just the way it is...It's a hard one. I don't want to get involved into this kind of thing.”
