Hens night. I need help

I'm planning my hens night everyone is a big drinker and I'm thinking about hiring someone to come to the house and serve cocktails. This is 40 per head for unlimited alc for 5 hrs any cocktail they want. Is it rude for the girls to pay them selves? Or should i cover the cost of there alc?

Tricky question........guess it depends your budget and how many girls are coming also.

Always an awkward situation with who pays for alcohol and maybe some girls will take advantage of your generosity if you DO pay - who knows.

Did noone offer to throw you a Hen's party?

Thought a best friend always did that

Definatly not. It is generally a good friend or the birdesmaids job to do this so your doing well to organise it as it is. If anything the girls should be paying for themselves and then putting in a little extra to cover you as well.

When you sent out invites by word of mouth or paper, let them know that there will be a charge of $40 for all the alcohol they can drink which is a great deal in my opinion since I spend that much on 2 pitchers of beer. It is customary for everyone to pay their own way on hen's night except for the bride so everyone should be cool with it. Maybe you could get them little favors or something to make it fun though if you are the host of the party.
