Hens night dress up ideas???

Holding a hens night shortly and don't know what to dress up with...

There are about 15 ppl going of all ages from 19- well her grandma is coming. She is getting married at the beach so we firstly thought get some lais and grass skirts but then some one suggested wigs. Does anyone have any ideas what we can wear? What we can dress the bride in? and does everyone have to wear it or just the young ones who are going to go out afterwards?

A nice idea that everyone can work out something to be comfortable in is a letter party. Say you choose an F. Everyone has to come in something beginning with an F - fairy, farmer, flower, fortune teller, etc. That way, someone can always choose something that will cover them up if they are not comfy getting their bits out! Lol.

What is it that you are doing before the night out? I would say only the people going out should wear the fancy dress, because it is a very night out thing!

The bride can wear the same as everyone else (if you choose a matching theme) and you can dress her in wedding banners, L plates, mini veil etc - all easily found in a fancy dress store, or even card shops!

There are plenty of other themes that you can do if you want, if you want to look classy, you can do a beauty pageant/miss world theme - everyone gets dressed up all pretty and wear crowns and banners.

My group went out recently as school PE kit - black short shorts, white socks to the knee, all the same t shirts with numbers and nicknames etc on them and we took little drink bottles to drink from all night!!! Was wicked and everyone said we looked good. You can also play games with it - whistles, balls, etc :) :)
