Hens party attire ideas? Nothing tacky..Fed up of bunny ears and cowboy hats?

Question

Its in feb next year..our friends have had the "hen" and "chicks" T-shirts....and the bunny ears..and novility hats..and pink lady jackets.

Cant thinks of anything different but not to tacky and not fancy dress??

any ideas please??

I would suggest being hippies, you know, the alcoholic pacifists in America during the 70s. I had a party like that and all I wore was a tie-dyed t-shirt and a colorful headband with a long ribbon hanging off of it. I also wore those Ozzy Osbourne sunglasses and giant gold medallions of the peace symbol. Good times :P.

we all bought black shirts and decorated them with fabric paints. we got the bride a white shirt and did the same. you can be creative and write whatever you want. we didn't really dress up as anything, but we still got a lot of attention.

Forget the theme and go for all one color.  It could be black, since most everyone has black, or go for a wedding color.  Have the bride wear an opposite color or match and wear a sash and tiara.  One of my favorite hen party ideas is the t-shirt for the bride with lots of lifesavers stuck on.  Anyone may have a suck for a buck.  Or a euro, or whatever denomiation might pertain to where you are in the world.  Gets lot of attention and it's not too dirty.
