Hep-C question?

I have hep-c and wondering what herbal remedy I should take. I have heard of milk thristal, what is it?

I have known about having hep-c for over 2 years since I started MMT program.

I don't take meds because I don't show symtoms. Meaning it's not bad enough to cause me health effects.

But I want to keep it that way, so what herbs keep my hep-c at bay?

  1. I am already treating 2 cases like you by our Distant Reiki Healing/ Cosmic Healing.

  2. The Mayo Clinic site, linked below, suggests that lactoferrin may help reduce the levels of the virus in your bloodstream, but that milk thistle and St Johns wort are ineffective. HCV can lead to cirrhosis in up to 2/3 of all untreated cases over a 30 year period.

  3. Just because you don't show symptoms is not a good reason not to do the meds - in fact if you wait until you do have symptoms...the meds are less likely to work because your liver will be very damaged at that point. And you will be dealing with two problems.

You can use milk thistle to keep your liver cells strong, but it will not kill the virus. Dandelion Root will help your liver and kidneys too. Any kind of herb that enhances the immune system will help kill the virus a little.

Actually this is how the drugs work - the Ribivirin slows the viral replication and the Interferon adds a super-dose of immune system power to your body. Your body makes interferon natually via your thymus gland, but when you take the synthetic interferon shots it's like multiplying this by 100x each week.

    Herbal immune system boosters are:

    Licorice Root Extract

    Siberian Ginseng Extract

    Cats Claw

These are not as powerful as the drugs, and can cause problems when taken over long periods of time. Licorice root can cause loss of potassium from your system which in turn effects your circulatory system. So be careful when using these.
