Her parents hate me.?

Me and this girl truly love each other. theres just one little thing... her parents hate me. idk what i did for them 2 hate me. she thinks its because i talked about shooting pistol and shotgun around them. cant anybody accept a good sportsman?? what should i do so her parents will like me? they wont even let me hang with her at HER HOUSE!!!

I feel for you, kiddo because I was in the same spot once in my life. I was dating this guy and his parents hated me for no reason. I was a good kid but because I was a cheerleader I was immediately a s***k and trying to trap their son. We ended up breaking up over it because I got so tired of him letting them disrespect me and him not sticking up for me. I suggest, if you really love this girl, you might want to stop talking about shooting and guns around them. You have to respect her parents if you wantt things to work out. Her parents could just be worried about you talking about shooting especially with the time of day we live in with all the gun violence in the world. I think you should ask her parents if you could sit down and talk to them. Be a man and stand up for yourself. Let them know that you love their daughter and that you would never put her in any harms way. Explain to them that your guns are just for sportsmanship and explain to them that if it makes them uncomfortable you will refrain for speaking about it while in their home. See how that goes. I think it would show good respect towards her parents if you went straight to them and asked them why they don't care for you.  And ask them straight up what you can do to better the situation because you really care for their daughter.  

And be nice about it all...
