Fred Rutten, PSV manager, was far from pleased with his side’s performance on the pitch. Rutten admitted that his troops staged a below par performance on the pitch against the ten-man Heraclieden. However, the 48-year-old tactician was relieved to see his
men securing all three points at the end of the match.
Rutten said, “There’s no denying that we had a tough time here. We were sloppy in possession. We put in a below-par display, in particular in the first half. I think we can do better than this, but we’ve picked up the three points and that is all that matters.”

Rutten admitted that his men had little rest before this game, as they had a tough week that was very demanding mentally and physically. He has now demanded strong performances from his troops in the coming weeks.
Rutten added, “The players lacked freshness after a busy week with an international match. We must stay focused and approach
each game in itself.”
PSV will play their upcoming encounter against the fallen Eredivisie giants, Feyenoord Rotterdam, at Feijenoord Stadion on Sunday, 24 April. The Boeren managed to win 10-0 earlier this season in front of their home crowd. However, Rutten knows that it will
