Heracles Almelo goalkeeper, Remko Pasveer, has signed a new contract that binds him to Polman Stadion until the summer of 2014. Pasveer was happy to receive a contract extension and admitted that he is delighted to sign a new contract.
The negotiations between the team management and Pasveer went for a long time. However, reports from Polman Stadion confirm that both parties have successfully agreed upon the new terms.
Pasveer said, “It has indeed taken some time, but I think everyone today for that very reason has a broad smile to the agreement endorsed the mouth. I am proud to have signed with this club.”
The Heraclieden have performed erratically and especially playing away from their home crowd. The eighth spot guarantees a UEFA Europa League
play-offs berth and with only three points left to play for in the season, they have every right to remain confident of playing in Europe’s secondary club competition next season.
Pasveer has performed impressively throughout the ongoing season for the Heraclieden. He has played every game this season and has remained exceptional between the posts.
Peter Bosz, the Heracles Almelo manager, has also praised Pasveer’s performances and was happy to see that the goalkeeper intends to stay longer with the club.
Bosz said, “Remko for us becomes a permanent fixture. He will continue in the coming years to develop even further. It is good that he continues to play for us. I am just as pleased as Remko with the contract extension.”
The 28-year-old gloves-man joined the Heraclieden in 2006/07 season. However, he was loaned to Eerste Divisie outfit, Go Ahead Eagles, in 2008/09 season. The shot-stopper returned to Polman Stadion for the 2010/11 season and has made 33 appearances so far
for the Heraclieden.
