Herbal essences question? 10 points WILL be rewarded!?

my gf has nturally frizzy, thick, wavy hair. Would it be wise for her to use Herbal essences Hello Hydration 2 n 1 shampoo+ conditioner in conjuction with Herbal essences Drama clean condtioner? Would that be a bad combination?

I think that the best combination would be to use the Totally Twisted shampoo + conditioner in conjunction with the Totally Twisted conditioner. However, those special things in shampoos and conditioners rarely ever matter. The combination that your girlfriend uses is probably fine.

Um, i wouldn't suggest using two different conditioners, because they may over power her hair and leave it feeling plastic-like. I've realized over the years that the cure to frizzy hair is moisture. Tell her to use a nice moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. That should cure it once she uses it continuously. She could give herself an oil treatment which would cure dryness as well. Also, herbal essences isn't the best shampoo out there---it leaves frizzy hair more dry, which is bad. Dove and Garnier and great shampoos. Good Luck.

Naah. You can mix and match any shampoo and conditioners.  But, she would be better off with the hydrating shampoo and conditioner, because her hair is frizzy. Maybe use the moisturizing every day, but use the drama clean once a week to remove buildup.

No it will way it down to much. Try using the 2 n 1 shampoo conditioner and Nexus leave in conditioner. Also look into sunsilk they have stuff for just wavy hair so does herbal essence.

of course not! It would defiantly help. I have the same problem. Just don't tell your girlfriend that her hair is really frizzy! Good Luck

i'm sure it would be fine to do. the products however always recommend using one with the other, but i'm sure you'l be okay. I used the hello hydration one before and not only does it smell delicious, but it seems to work on frizz. good luck.

Try this:  make a paste with half fresh avocado and pure olive oil.  Apply it in the dry hair.  Leave it on for half hour ( wrap the hair with plastic or shower cap).    Wash it with any good neutral shampoo and use a simple conditioner.  It will do wonders !!!

my suggestion is to use the herbal essences, and buy a mouse or gel and scrunch her hair while wet and it would look great and curly, but not to much of it just soo it won't frizz. Try it!!! sometimes just the shampoo wont help, try the herbal essences gel or mouse for curly hair plus the smell is great lol

I'm sure you're thinking her hair would feel great clean and hydrated after combining the two types. Her hair will be really easy to brush through after washing it because of all that conditioner but it will be really shiny and soft at the same time. Remind her to leave a good amount of the conditioner residue in her hair instead of rinsing it all out, but not too much or else it is really gross and will get greasy easily with the build up.
