  1. good answers from cheesy wotsits...maybe rhodiola if you are feeling a bit stressed out too

red bull, coffee etc will give a temp boost and you will feel even worse after

  2. In Chinese medicine, there are several organ systems that are responsible for 'energy'. Low energy is often based on Qi Deficiency or Yang Deficiency of the Spleen or Kidney organ systems. You can build Qi energy through herbs and proper foods, but also through Qi Gong breathing exercises.

  3. Well, i can sympathise. I have tried numerous herbal remedies but the one that works for me is something called Siberian Ginseng. You can get it in different strengths but i don't think it's advisable if you're on the pill. I know some can clash with that. You'll need to check that out. You can get this from the health stores. They will probably ask what medication you're on, if any. I have tried Vitamin B tablets before but didn't really help me. Everyone's different though, so what works for someone, may not work for others. Also co-enzyme q10 is another good one.

Apart from the above. Do you exercise or go to a gym? Exercise will give you energy. By the way, with herbal remedies, you need to allow for 3 months before you notice any difference. This is what the pharmacist told me anyway. I'm quite impatient myself but stick with it and exercise and you'll be fine.

  4. Make sure you eat light healthy meals. Keep away from caffiene if possible (although from personal experience this is easier said than done). Citrus smells are uplifting. Ginseng is an energy boosting extract. Also, I used to drink this when I was detoxing and couldn't drink coffee: Grapefruit, lemon and orange freshly squeezed. Gives a quick natural boost.

    Good luck

  5. Co-enzyme Q10 100mg per day

    SAMe - 400mg p.d.

    B vitamin Complex

    Ginkgo Biloba 60mg p.d.

Although supplementing is not the solution, it will provide you with more energy, but you need to get to the source of the problem.

Cut your sugar intake, replace sugar with Xylitol.

Eat more fruits and vegetables, get regular exercise, try going to a yoga class in the morning, some start at 6am, so you can have a yoga session before you go off to work, relaxed and at peace.

Also listen to Hypnosis CD's, see a Clinical Hypnotist, to help you learn a relaxation routine, to relax all your muscles before you go to bed, from your toes to your eye muscles, and this will aid in you getting a restful sleep. You may be sleeping yout 8hours per day, but if it is not restful sleep, whereby your muscles are relaxed, and your brain i in the alpha/theta state then it you will wake up tired. Brain Sync make good hypnosis CD's, you can download them from mininova.org using bittorrent program.

Also spend 30seconds-3minutes each morning outside in the bright morning sunrise, this will help synchronise your circadian clock, and make you more awake, increasing your energy. It might be a good idea to have breakfast in the garden in the summer time.

    Hope this helps.

  6. Take B-12, and increase the amount of raw vegetables you consume.  They will improve your digestion, which improves circulation, which really boosts energy.

  7. Suggest you try Herbalife Shakes for breakfast.  A great and wonderful way to start you day.  It will give you all the vitamins and iron that you need for a complete meal.  Note that breakfast is your most important meal of the day.

  8. some good quality base would do the trick but legal would have to be red bull or pro plus.

  9. A teaspoon of molasses  a day might be just the trick for you.  It is high in iron and should increase your energy.

  10. Ginger is a good awakener, but to keep you up all day you would have to get quite a bit.

I had troubles with staying away during the day even with adequate rest and eating healthfully.

I found that what seemed "healthful" to a typical doctor is not really all that great. I read a book called Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon.

I am now eating/drinking a serving of kefir every day, a 16 oz. bottle of kombucha and drinking sea salt water with iodine, and I have never felt better. Within a week I felt better. :D

I love herbs, but in this instance, for me, herbs did nothing. It was completely finding the right diet for my body.

Highly recommend the book Nourishing Traditions.

  11. The trick is going to be finding out just what the root cause of your tiredness is. The red bull and caffeine suggestions are not properly going to help you. Could there be stress involved? in which case there are some herbal products, eg valerian root, that can help with stress. Or how is your job situation? do you find your work dull / boring? If so a change there could give you more to look forward to each day, which would mentally give you some more energy.

  12. Liquid American Ginseng

    Almond milk

    Bananas

    Chicken liver for B12

  13. red bull pro plus Defoe

get herbal teas from health shop to

    have lots coffee and caffeine
