i have started taking herbal supplements to boost my immune system and i am taking a probiotic, echinacea, b-complex 50, pau de aro tea and chamomile tea. Are these all safe to take at the same time and could i experience any side effects to them. I have noticed that i have been grinding my teeth. I have no known illnesses and I only take birth control pills on a regular basis.

  1. Shouln't be any problems as they are are all natural supplements.

Echinacea is only suitable for short terms and long term use may actually weaken your immune system.

The two natural antibiotics colloidal silver and garlic oil will also boost your immune system as well as extra vitamin C.

  2. Echinacea is more of a natural antibiotic you can take the pro biotic and the b complex together but I wouldn't recommend the paudearco  tea, chamomile tea is a relaxant. The main reason is I am a Certified Herbalist and I don't know your history and if anyone else gives you advice without being Certified there wrong. because I deal with systems and if you don't have any known illness why are you taking these other herbs ?

  3. I am not sure about combining all of these herbal supplements together and what they could do.  I don't think it has anything to do with grinding your teeth.  I do know that birth control pills are not effective if you take antibiotics so your best bet would be to consult your doctor and make sure everything is ok.

  4. Feeling run down is not due to a poor immune system, and most of the things you are taking will make no difference to your immune system.  If you are feeling tired and rundown you should see your family doctor.  You may be depressed, anemic, have low thyroid or other problems.

Probiotics are mostly a scam, too much B vitamins can be harmful.  Chamomile tea can be relaxing.

  5. My herbal drink is the solution to your problem.  It is comprised of 5 power herbs.  The most powerful herb, moringa, is even known to cure cancer.  Search the web for Moringa and you’ll know what I mean.

  6. it is a better thing to get your vitamins from your diet ...biochemic tissue salts would be more of what would help  always remember that in the law of healing, one always feels worse  before they get better....it  is a signthat the body is re- balancing itself

  7. I wouldn't take any supplements if there is no need to. Certain herbs can actually do more harm than good if you intake too much. Since you're taking birth control pills, you want to make sure you read the pamphlet to see what herbs or other medicines may counteract with your prescription.

  8. If there is nothing wrong health wise, then you should not be taking anything. As for herbal remedies, they do not work. Extensive studies have been done in California and New York and to date they have not found anything much as far as helpful. You may however get a placebo effect.

Grinding of the teeth is a side effect that your doing too much. Most likely from the achinacea and possibly the paude aro tea and I have heard that some do not tolerate probotics well, just not sure grinding of the teeth is part of it.

Probotics are not really effective and I can say that chamomile tea is slightly calming- but more has to do with the smell and not the actual ingestion of....

As with anything, if your taking anything on a daily basis, you can have not only side effects, but withdraw symptoms as well.

Just because it is touted natural or herbal doesn't mean it doesn't come with side effects.
