Herbal way in dealing with kidney disease?

My sister is on dialysis and she wants to know if there is any alternatives method to help the kidney function again. She is will to try anything at least once. Homeopathy or herbal?????

I'm sorry your syster has kidney disease!

Use of herbal supplements may be unsafe for kidney disease patients, since their body is not able to clear waste products like a healthy person.

Very few herbs have been studied in kidney disease patients. What may be safe for healthy persons may not be safe for someone with kidney disease, and in fact, could be dangerous. Therefore, you need to be very cautious about your use of these products.

If your sister is on dialysis, then her kidneys are shot. .Sorry, at this stage it is dialysis, or a kidney transplant.  Kidneys do not magically regrow.

There is NO alternative treatment, and in fact, herbal treatments are potentially very harmful in someone undergoing dialysis.

Homeopathy is essentially a very expensive placebo treatment...it won't hurt her, but it will do absolutely nothing for her either.  She should save her money.
