I recently got over a bad dose of flu and I still have a cough & sore lungs.

I've had them checked out at the Dr's and they say they can find nothing wrong.

are there any alternative meds I can utilise to get back to strength.?

  1. Your lungs may be fine. It's your immune system that I would worry about. It's your about your ability to fight of viruses. The coughing is most likely the reason for the sore lungs. You want to strengthen your lungs you need to do cardio, If you want to help your body to fight off these infections and viruses check out mangosteen. It has been used for centuries in South Asia for all kinds off stuff!

  2. Let me recommend a website where you'll find physicians. They'll answer your questions, it's called wortix, google it.

  3. Swim

  4. Chest rub Vick's vapor and breath the heat from a baked onion both Are good to open lungs.

  5. No, I am afraid not. The lungs often remain irritable following a viral illness, though they may sound quite normal on auscultation, ( listening with a stethoscope.) The problem usually settles with the passage of time. Obviously avoid any kind of smoke or fumes, directly or passively, and in the early stages exercise needs to be quite gentle.

  6. They carry spirometers at the drug store now, that would help with your lung strength.  Also steam.

  7. You need "tincture of time".

It takes 6-12 weeks to recover from a viral infection like the flu.  All you can do is wait it out.   Drink water and suck on hard candy to help with the cough.

  8. Green tea can reduce inflammation of the airways.

Vitamin C helps fight viruses in respiratory system, and help heal damage.  Flavonoids or bioflavonoids are anti virals and anti inflamatories.

Thyme tea can thin mucus secretions.

To build up your immune system use Echinacea and astragalus.

    Other things to do.

    Don't smoke

    drink plenty

    dont use aerosols

    stay away from traffic.

    sorry you're poorly monkey
