Hercules target Chelsea winger Florent Malouda, Jeffrey Bruma handed new role at Leicester City
Hercules eye Florent Malouda
Recent reports reveal La Liga side Hercules are lining up a £7-million bid for Chelsea winger http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Florent-Malouda-c13838. The 30-year-old was essential to the Blues last season as they claimed their first ever double; the English Premier League and the FA Cup. The
Frenchman has continued his impressive form, scoring nine times in 26 appearances in the League. However, Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has plans to offload older players in an attempt to rebuild the team at Stamford Bridge, which has been accused of being
“too old.”
If that is indeed the case, Florent Malouda will be one of the many players who will be on their way out at the end of the season. Didier Drogba, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicolas-Anelka-c27786 are amongst the senior players at the club and their time at the
London club is apparently almost at its end. The Italian manager has already started bringing in potential replacements, the January transfer window saw the arrival of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Luiz-c10542 for an astronomical price of £70 million.
If Malouda is indeed nearing a Stamford Bridge exit, Hercules have so far emerged as the only side interested in signing the winger. The Frenchman would make an excellent addition to the newly promoted side and would pair up well with French striker David
Trezeguet. Malouda has an excellent eye for goal and pace, the winger provides the Blues with much needed width. His endless supply of assists was one of the reasons Ivoirian striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044 finished the golden boot winner last season.

Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma revealed he was determined to perform well at Leicester City and improve so he could return to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786. The 19-year-old made a move to Leicester City during the January transfer window and recently made a debut for his new
side.
The youngster revealed he was hungry for first team football, he said while speaking to reporters, “I want to play as much as I can and return with better qualities and prove I'm ready for Chelsea. And if not I hope to get another loan, maybe at Leicester
or another club.”
Bruma commented on his new role as a midfielder, the defender was being made to play in midfield by Leicester boss Sven-Goran Eriksson. He admitted he was enjoying the challenge and that he expected to be put in that position more regularly.
Bruma continued, “So whether the coach wants me to play as a holding midfielder or a centre-half I will play there. My qualities are I am quite good on the ball, I think I am good in the air, quite strong and quick. These are all attributes you need to play
centre-half or as a holding midfielder.”
