i think the world will soon be overcome by humman greed and engulf itself in the flames of war over gasoline,territory, and money. then will come the downfall of many country and life will begin anew on the desolate planet until we are in the same situation again.

No, I don't believe that the US will turn it's back on the people. What does this have to do with "Save the environment?" lol. Two different topics...but saving the environment is and endless struggle that I'd like to think we are fighting head on. We often overlook some of the other troubles that we are fighting, but saving the environment is something that cannot be put on hold. The US is made up of the people...without people there would be no "melting pot" in America, which is the basis of our country.
