amongst the stuff you mentioned, here is my ranking from best to worst:

-V8 (add some tabasco, lemon, salt and/or pepper for a great bloody mary)

-Sierra Mist free

-Purple powerade (you can mix the Powerade and the Sierra mist free together too).

-Diet pepsi (horrible with vodka).

You should try vodka with red bull though...

V-8 . But try cranberry or orange juice and even pineapple. I like using juices when mixing they seem to go better. Better still Kaluha and milk make a white Russian
