First CHANGE a few laws: Allow ANYONE to drive electric operated vehicles such as Golf-Carts drive on roads with speed limits on 35 mph and under.

Simple licence changes with Insurance changes.

SHORTS trips 2-4 miles represent 79% of ALL fuel usage in America (Car & Driver Mag March 2007) Grocery, Pharmacy, doctor get a pack of smokes etc.

A decent Golf cart $2800

I have a golf cart that goes 40 mph...I drive it everywhere and love it. If it rains I pop a roof with doors on it.....I love it.

I estimate it cost me around .49 cents for a full charge.

I do use it on the course and drive to the country club everyday with it...we go to lunch in .....h**l everything!

I use it to go to the barn to feed our horses, we have 2 ponds and one lake we drive out to each evening to feed the fish.

what do you think?

if you have an objection....I'll answer you right back

oh....the bastar*s would be getting billion in taxes from fuel tax...lol

  1. Sounds great.  I thought the Segue would turn into that, but sadly it didn't.  I rode one once and it was easy and fun.

  2. wow an electric golf cart that will go 40mph--thats great--i had one but it wouldnt go nearly that fast and was very slow going up hills---still not a bad idea

  3. I live up and down several big hills that a golf cart could barely make it up.

  4. Great idea.  I would not be able to take advantage, I need a truck for work, and ride my bike to the university and the store (which I enjoy)  My parents bought one for our cabin.  We use it to go to the beach etc.  I would love to drive it into town, but the one time I tried I got a ticket.

  5. How about the impending Chevy Volt that actually has cargo space and promises 40 miles of no gas usage.  Granted it costs more than a golf cart (which should be street legal for folks that don't need cargo) but I can take care of every days' worth of business on that 40 miles (grocery shopping, going to work, running errands, dropping off as well as picking up kids and the like).

  6. that way we could be rich

  7. So basically you are advocating the electric car...

Next 2-3 years there will be 5-7 models available, with hardtops and heated seats...etc
