I don't remember too much of Andre the Giant's matches, i've watched some on youtube, and didn't think too much of them.

Did Andre ever wrestle well, I mean like did he have talent in wrestling, or was it just his size that made him famous like the great khali?

The Andre you saw in his latter years was but half the wrestler he was in his early years.  By the time he fought Hogen in WM he was in extensive pain and it is amazing that he was even able to wrestle that match.  In his younger years he possessed great strength and had exceptional quickness for a big man of his size; in fact I saw him perform a drop kick. However,the video below still does not show his real ability.

the guy was 7ft 4

but taking his size into acount he actualy was a good wrestler and crowds really took to him

i remember him being very awkward, against the hulk was agood one, but it was some joe he got to pound on or a bunch of midgets 3 at  a time to beat on, wasnt much to me
