Why is it considered unacceptable to laugh at a funeral but acceptable to cry at a wedding?Thanks for answering this odd question:)

If you hold your head down while you are laughing people will think you are crying anyway.  It's as natural as crying, just sometimes it comes out as laughing.  I laughed at my grandmother's funeral and I loved her dearly.  I think she would have laughed too.

Well, most of the time when people cry at weddings, it's not because they're feeling sorrow, but joy. Like..people cry at weddings because they're happy. I cried at my friends wedding yesterday because she looked so beautiful and I was so happy for her.

But at funerals, you don't want to laugh because it's a sad, sorrowful occasion and most people don't laugh out of sadness in the same way people can sometimes cry out of happiness.
