These are some records that were set in the year 2007 that are alot lesser known than Brett Favre or Barry Bonds.
I will lable each one and you tell me which one you like the best.
A.On March 9, Super heavyweight boxers Eric "Butterbean" Esch and Joe Siciliano establish what is believed to be a record for total poundage in a boxing match, weighing in at a combined 730.5 pounds,
417 of which belong to Esch.
B.On Jan. 3, Michael Perham, England, sails into Nelson's Dockyard in Antigua, becoming the youngest person to cross the Atlantic singlehanded.
C.On July 14, George Hood, of Aurora, Ill., sets the world record for stationary cycling, completing his 111th straight hour on an exercise bike. The previous record was 83 hours.
D.On Oct. 6, harness racing's Donato Hanover wins the milelong Kentucky Futurity in a record tying 1:50.1. It's his 11th consecutive victory.
E.On Aug. 4, Isabella Wagner, of Germany, runs 100 meters backward in 16.8 seconds, breaking the previous record by nearly a second, Wagner also sets the backward 400-meter mark, finsihing in 1:29.
F.on Jan. 22, British skateboarder Dave Cornthwaite completes a five-month, 3,638 mile trek across Australia, setting a record.
G.On Oct. 20, Steven Longmeadow, Mass., establishes a new record for individual cycle at the WSSA New York State Sports Stacking Championships. His time in the event, which entails stacking 12 plastic cups in a sequence of positions, is 7.23 seconds, besting by.02 seconds the record established in April by 11 year-old David Wolf of Germany.
H.On Aug. 19, Sheila Drummond, 53, blinded by diabetes more than two decades ago hits a hole-in-one on the 144-yard, par-three fourth at Mahoning Valley Country Club, near Lehighton, Pa.
I.On Oct. 14, Erik Akkersdijk, of the Netherlands, solves a Rubik's Cube in a record 9.77 seconds at the Dutch Open.
J.On Aug. 4: Kevin Taylor, of Michigan, sets a speed brick-breaking record, smashing 584 cement bricks in 57.5 seconds.
