Now it's about £1.17 per litre of petrol!

  1. National average (US) is about $4/gallon.  So about $1.08/litre.

    And US dollars to British pounds...um, about 2 dollars = 1 pound.  Approximately.

    Anyway.  Does that help?

  3. Over a similar period, petrol has increaded about 25% here in the USA.  It is currently about $1.18 / litre, making it roughly half the UK price.  Many here are whinging about fuel prices, because they don't know what it costs in other industrialized countries.
