I have four pairs of eyes, but I cannot see (even though I do have glasses). I can hold you in suspense despite having no hands. I have been banned from every school because I know almost every subject. People look up to me in awe and down on me in fear. I am as cold as ice. I am as hot as a desert. I can never lie down.

What am I?
