  1. The court makes the emancipation decision, not your parents.

That being said, if you have 2 parents, a roof over your head, food and access to education, it is very unlikely the court would grant your request.

  2. If a court decides that your life is worse than any other teenager your age, AND you can show that you are sufficiently earning enough money (without welfare or medicaid) to support yourself financially, then it is possible that a court would grant emancipation without your parents agreeing to it.  You don't say how old you are, but it's hard enough being a real grownup with maturity and experience, much less a kid without any of that. I think you need to stay home.  You will always see people in life that you think you are doing more work than (referring to your original post) and getting less out of.  The oldest kids in a family usually get more responsibility put on them, that's a given in life.

  3. How old are you?.. are you going to move out?... What state do you live in?... You left out a lot of details that are needed to be able to give useful advice..

  4. You can emancipate yourself with a good lawyer--YOU PAY FOR!
