The day you were born, the whole world was blessed

These thoughts in my mind to you I must confess

The time has come for me to express my true feelings

You are the center of my thoughts and the essence of my being

What you have brought me I never thought I could procure

The gift of comfort, with you I am secure

For you have lifted me up from a life filled with sorrow

And made me realize there is always a better tomorrow

It amazes me how someone can make me feel this way

I love you more and more with each passing day

You brighten my days and lift my spirits

I have felt this for so long and now want you to hear it

So you may know the place you hold in my heart

You are always with me even when we're apart

I truly believe what we have is meant to be

Just open your heart and soon you shall see

What I am willing to do to keep a smile on your face

Just know that I'm here and will be always

yes indeed the poem is beutiful.

It is written in a general trend of iambic pentameter,and every two lines form a stanza. Each couplet is rhyming well to add to the lyricism and the music of the poem.

So far soo good about the form.

We will now try and analyse andappreciate the substance of the poem.

the poem is a beutifully woven necklace of pearls, - white and silvery and shiny like the moonlit rivulet kissed by the moon-rays.

It is to be noted that the love is not all wild, there is a certain reservedness and at the same time sweetness which is so characteristc of a lady in love.

The whole poem maintains a certain height and dignity and yet the love is all pouring in its flow like the sweet winds that do fill the air of our this land like the unearthly songs of some Kinnaris from those haunts of Himalayas that we see in the Meghdoot of Kalidasa.

The more I am reading carefully , the more I am entering in the spirit of the poem and its ethereal love. I am sure , I could analyse each couplet and discover new depth in the love of each stanza.
