Everyone talks about how Obama needs to work for the "working class white voters". Why is the media not asking McCain why he is not working toward getting the working class "Black vote", "Asian vote", or "Hispanic vote"? After all this is America...Right??

  1. By "working class white voters", I think they mean Good 'Ol Boys (rednecks). The "working class white voters" usually vote the democratic ticket; however, Obama is black(thank god). The Good Ol Boys are hesitant to vote for a black man, because their great grandpappy "owned a few." The question is, has America shed its racist views? The answer, no.

The reason why McCain need not pander to the Black or Hispanic vote is because he thinks he can win without them. But what he doesn't realize is that the Blacks and Hispanics are actually no longer a minority (as far as quantity). They are a minority as far as oppression--or whatever card--but not in quantity. So McCain wants his party to making sweeping remarks about Dem and Rep coming together as Americans to support the troops (mostly Black) in the Middle East. He figures, I already have the vote from rich folk and redneck folk, so why not pull a few black families with troops in Iraq over to the Rep side.

    There you go.

  2. Yep, this is America and thats why McClain does not have to put a label on someones race. No matter the race America represents them too.

  3. 1.Mccain did go to the NAACP  but he is white and not there  boy

2.last time i checked black people can vote go to college stay in school. but if they don't then they deserve to be living in the poverty.

    3. Hispanics do you mean ILLegals or US citzens

    4. you are apart of the problem in Ameriaca there should be no black no Asian or Hispanic Just are you an AMERICAN period.

    5. one last they may the best man or woman get the job and when i mean job i mean ANY job not based on your  skin color or your herritage.

  4. I'm hispanic, and I'm voting for him, and so is my entire family. And were all Democrats too. How about that!!

  5. because convicts can't vote. lol

  6. Hate to say but the Liberals and minorities go hand in hand ask yourself what really has the Democratic party done for me? If your honest to yourself you or I as an minority may think about it before we vote blue again.

  7. The reason is that the media is emphasizing what Obama needs to win the election.  McCain can win without minroity support - Obama can not win without white support.

  8. Because those are the voters who turn elections, not minority vote.  Whats wrong with working white class?

  9. White America goes to the polls 90% of the time while us minorities believe that one vote won't shake up the system thus minorities have no voice in elections.  That is a true fact.  Why do you think George Bush got elected twice?  Do you really think that minorities want Bush in the white house?  Young voters too needs to step up and be heard and not just whine and complain.  If the youngster voted in 2000 adn 2004, would Bush have been President-elect twice?  Not.

  10. Dont you get an overwhelming sense of "If you disagree with us, you clearly hate your country?"

These fear tactics dont work for all of us....

    :oops

  11. Truthfully, he doesn't need them.

  12. Because they majority of the vote is Caucasian

  13. good point, but the answer is simple: mcbush has no chance at getting much support from these voters, so he is going after his base, hoping to garner enough support to keep the vote from being a blowout. My guess is he won't be successful.

  14. I think both candidates need to cater to American voters regardless of race. The media is supposed to be colorblind but I see them continue to stir the pot on race matters .
