Here is my problem i need help with. my computer is not picking up the plug?

that goes to my camcorder. what can i do to fix it. i tried to restart computer with the camra on and pluged up did not work. i downloaded the cd that came with it did not work. what can i do to fix it.

Open the "my computer" window.

Look at the devices listed there.

You should find a new one named something like

"E:removable USB disk " - or something similar.

If unshure, You can have this window open and plug in and ut to see wich device comes and goes.

Allow up to two minutes betwen the in/outs because it may take some time to refresh the list on some systems.
