Heritage hotel in Christchurch?

i've just booked a 4 night stay in the Heritage hotel in Christchurch.The reason i booked is because it seems very central(Cathedral Sq.),but i am not really sure if it's a good one.Has anyone been there?Or if you live in CHC have you heard positive things about it?i hope i made the right choice,as i will be sharing the room with a friend from NZ and i don't want her to think i'm a tight *** and that i made a wrong choice.THANKS

Don't panic - you can't go wrong with the heritage i think.  It is in a good location right in town and easy to get to everything from there.  The OGB bar is nice just next door and they have a day spa too (although if you have time for a massage pop round the corner to MuZu on hereford st it's a chinese foot spa and it's really cool).
