  1. if its coming out of its shell, its probably dead or very sick. As there are no vets that Ive ever heard of  that treat hermit crabs then you are sol. Take it back to the pet store and demand a new one. Make sure they have dechlorinated water to drink and soak in. For optimal health supply them with two soaking areas, a salt water one and a fresh water one. They use these to get just the right salt balance in the water they keep in their shells. On that note, dont supply them with shells that have any holes in it. Also, make sure the food you are feeding them is nutritious and not just in a colorful container. Use sand instead of gravel as a substrate as the sand is soft and protects them from injuries after they molt. When they do molt put them in a small isolation enclosure so that their roomates cant injure them. Thats about all the advice I can give. LIke I said, take it back to where you got it and tell them what happened. If youve only got a couple then get a third because they seem to like the company.

  2. i am sorry to tell you it is more likely to be dead :,(
