Hermit crab molting?

I have two hermit crabs Herbie, boy and Pippy, girl [ not sure if it matters] herbie molted nine days ago.. Is it safe to put Pippy back in with him or not? Herbie is also pale! he used to be a very bright purple and orange crab! And two days ago he was walking around his cage with no shell! is he okay??? Thanks!!!! =]

  1. He is perfectly fine he just needs to be isolated for a couple more days. At least until he gets his shell back on.
