However, the reigning European Champions were stunned in the closing stages, as the Spanish International netted a wonderful goal right from the edge of the box to salvage a point for his side.
The draw kept http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-c25261 Laudrup’s unit at the eleventh place on the table, while allowing Manchester United to leapfrog the London-based team to the top of the table.
The draw for the Blues also came after their controversial defeat against the Red Devils last week, and has sent their league campaign into a downward spiral after a sparkling start.
Nonetheless, Hernandez, who arrived at the Liberty Stadium for a club record 5.55 million pounds transfer fee during the summer, was delighted after scoring his second Swansea City goal.
The 27-year-old winger said that he has started to adapt to the Swans playing style and that he is only going to get better as the season progresses.
“I am delighted because it was an important goal,” he told the reporters.
“I came here at the beginning and it took me a few weeks to adapt. But I am getting better and better and enjoying it more and more.”
Hernandez was also pivotal in the Swans 3-1 triumph over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 at Anfield in the midweek Capital One Cup fixture, which sent his side through into the quarterfinals of the competition.
Speaking of his time at the Liberty Stadium, the forward revealed that the presence of scores of Spanish players in the squad has made him feel at home.
He also praised the way in which the Swans play their football, claiming that it has made things much simpler for him.
“Personally, I have had to work hard to get into the first team to start…I am happy I am adapting and the team is playing well because our football is easy to see,” he added.
