Hernia Operation Just a Question?

I had my operation 2 yrs ago. And off and on Ive had pain not really bad but mild. My doc said it was normal to have pain after a few yrs after as it comes and goes as he put it. I just wanted to know is he right how come some surgeons put up a fight to have a operation?

When I was going to see doc after doc they told me I didnt have a hernia or they couldnt feel for one. SO they did exploration surgery and they did find a hernia...

So is it the scar tissue is scar tissue suppose to be hard?

is it the nerver Idk.?

    Scar tissue is hard and it is common after surgery, especially repair or removal surgeries to have lasting discomfort that comes and goes.  If you continue to have this pain, seek a consult with the surgeon or a different surgeon to see what can be done, if anything to minimize the scar tissue, and ensure thereis little or no adhesion.
