Hernia questions please help?

my dad just got the hernia surgery he has been in a lot of pain he waited for 2 years plus to get the surgery and he has been in a lot of pain since then throwing up also. is this normal to be throwing up after it? anything else you can add or a website about it would be very helpful

if he's throwing up after a procedure, sure that's normal.  Between the meds they give u to numb the pain, and havin to watch the operation, I'd be a bit queasy myself.

Make sure he eats healthy and drinks a LOT of water and gatorade to keep him hydrated, and gargle warm water to heal his throat from the vomit, and he should be fine.
