For me Scrabble is the greatest board game of all time.  Such things are mostly a matter of opinion.  However, a true random poll might just possibly show Monopoly as the greatest board game of all time - even though you and I would not agree with that poll.

Warhammer Quest

There are a ton of games out there that I feel is way better then HeroQuest. But I just listed Warhammer Quest because it is basically the same type of game as Heroquest. Just better. Same with Space Crusade. There is actually Advance Space Crusade game which is made by Games Workshop.

And just to throw it out there I believe Settlers of Catan to be the best overall game IMHO.

I would name every bookcase game the ORIGINAL AVALON HILL GAME COMPANY EVER MADE, but instead.... Twilight Imperium (any version, with or without the expansions) will do the trick!
