Herschelle Gibbs expected to appear on “Big Screen”
Former South African star opener Herschelle Gibbs’ autobiography 'To the Point' is grabbing headlines in South Africa sidelining his former team’s ongoing One Day series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755. The book is particularly critical of the triumphant
South African captain Graeme Smith.
The controversial autobiography, released on Monday, uncovered a number of hidden controversies of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 cricket team including claims of s*x orgies and cliques in the team. Besides these allegations the out of favour opener revealed in the book that
he has been offered a money-spinning role in a Bollywood movie.
"A totally unexpected surprise came my way recently when I was offered a role in a Bollywood movie that will start filming at the end of May 2011. I'm not sure what the part is or what I'm supposed to do but my agent has told me it's very
good money for only a day's work”, Gibbs wrote in his book.
Gibbs, however, added that he would never accept a negative role in the movie and would first find out more about his what kind of character is it going to be. The role offered to a cricketer would more likely be a cricketing character and

Gibbs also wrote in his book that India as a place always full of surprises. The South African opener stayed away from India for a period of almost five years because of fears of detention by Indian police, who wanted to investigate him
about his role in match-fixing saga in 2000 revolving mostly around the late Hansie Cronje.
But now, with a lucrative Bollywood offer awaiting him there, Gibbs said that he has always been excited to go back to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750.
"I always used to love coming back to India as it is, especially after the match-fixing issue was settled and I knew I wasn't going to be arrested the minute I set foot in the country".
The controversial opener had a colourful life, often getting into troubles with charges of 'womanising', drinking, drug-taking and even drunken driving cases.
