The visitors’ skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Andrew-Stuart-Lewis-c44608, won the toss and decided to field first. The overcast conditions were expected to assist the bowlers and this is exactly what happened, as Dorset batsmen failed to cope with the seam and swing conditions.
The Park brothers, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Dominic-Lambert-Audain-c54308 and James, opened the innings for the hosts and they collected 27 runs before the latter gave his wicket away. James managed 10 runs from the same number of deliveries faced, but failed to carry onto the start he got to his innings.

The home team’s skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Thomas-Charles-Hicks-c93339, also failed to rescue his team from trouble and had to take the long walk back to the pavilion after scoring just four runs.
Lower-order bahttp://www.senore.com/Cricket/Simon-Joseph-Vernon-Watkins-c90387, didn’t find any difficulties in the middle and reached 39 runs in just 33 balls with the help of four fours and two massive sixes. However, rain came pouring down after that and the Dorset innings had to be stopped.
Bowlers enjoyed the conditions and took wickets at regular intervals in the match. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nicholas-Guy-Eades-Walker-c79372 took a couple of wickets each in the match, putting their team on top.
