Hertha Berlin midfielder Andreas Ottl has stated that the club is hopeful of winning their first game of the Bundesliga season against Stuttgart this Friday after being promoted to the first division last season. He claimed that

The Berlin giants currently sit in 13th place with two points from the three games played and play their next game at home. The club’s performances recently have been good but the team has been unlucky in conceding late
goals.
Ottl claimed that the team is getting used to Bundesliga football and the players have shown massive improvement in the last few weeks. He remained hopeful for Berlin’s first league win of the season and admitted that Stuttgart
would be a huge test this Friday.
“We're improving week by week and we'll soon deliver a first three points for the Olympiastadion faithful. Why not against Stuttgart on Friday?” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Bayern Munich man praised the team’s display in the last match against Hannover and insisted that Hertha was clearly the better side in the second period. He added that it was a deserved point and is determined to perform
consistently in this campaign.
“It was a game of two halves. We showed more courage and were more focused in our attacking play. Overall I think we deserved the point,” he continued.
The midfielder admitted that it will take the players some time to settle into the first division as 2.Bundesliga was different. He added that the team’s away record last season was great and he hopes to carry on that tag this
time around.
“Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 are two very different things. In that respect, it's a bit early to be talking about our away record in the Bundesliga. We head into our away games with plenty of confidence,” he concluded.
