Hey I need some help on the rulings because different people say different so if I use the first effect of the dark hex sealed fusion to subsistute does it have to be dark or can it be fire?

Because the second effect says if I use the second effect it has to be dark. I was just wondering because their are two different effects and I heard you can you its second effect without polymerization (thats why it has to be dark). I was just wondering I need help with rulings Thanx everyone.

  1. for all the hex sealed fusions, the first effect simply means that they can be used as substitutes for fusions (polymerization, miracle fusion, etc.).

    the second effect (tributing to summon a fusion monster) is just tributing the hex sealed fusion and another monster to summon a monster with the same attribute as the hex sealed (so you can use the dark hex and dark magician/ buster blader to summon dark paladin). the second effect does not properly fusion summon so you can't bring back the fusion monster if it was destroyed

  2. it can subsitute any mitirel but a hex-fusion monster can somen a fusion of the same attribute if it's on the field without polymerazation (but ya still hafe to ues the mitirels)

    so to put it simpel;

    they're like "super-powered polymerazation"
