Hey, I'm 26 and want to find a cool place to live

Question

Im Irish, a graphic designer/barman and Im looking for somewhere to spend the rest of my time. Visas seem they might be a little problematic for me as I dont have a degree, I was educated through City&Guilds for my graphic design but have a bar management certificate to my name. Im looking for a modern city where the sun shines (doesn't necessarily need to be warm, just sun for the soul). Needs to be an open-minded place too and not cost an arm and a leg to live in. Thanks for the help and the info

why don't you look into Silverlake CA?  It is an awesome place right next to Hollywood CA and it is a very artsy open minded hip place that would be VERY affordable, being that is is located right near Echo Park, which is kind of a low income area? and since it is in CA plenty of sunshine

o yea, there are alot of awesome bars in silverlake and I'm sure alot of companies need a graphic designer

new york city!..little more money than most places..but it is fun and exciting..there is always something to do..people who live there dont need cars and live a whole different city life!...there is plenty of job oppurtunities there aswell!

oh and the sun is usually shining..unless there is a yucky day..but is only an hour from longisland where there are plenty of beaches..
