Well this is somewhat similar. Fresh Air Fund is great. People underestimate the great impact it has no young children. It funds trips for children from poor urban areas to visit the suburbs and the country during the summer. These kids usually have no safe places to play. They are able to appreciate music, art, culture etc. during their time. It also helps them learn how to be independent.
